If you’ve seen my instagram feed you would know that I’m a huge fan of juicing. My body seems to love them and I’ve seen noticeable changes in my health when I incorporate them into my daily routine. I’ve also recently invested in a slow juicer (I bought a brand called Hurom). These machines gently press the juices out of fruit and vegetables to retain their maximum nutrient content. However they can be quite pricey, and if you can’t afford a top end juicer, don’t worry! I’ve still enjoyed the benefits of juices with traditional juicers too.
Nearly every week I go through a phase where I get hooked on certain things. This week I’ve been drinking this juice every single day, it’s so refreshing and I can’t get enough of it! Not only does it taste great, but it’s full of nourishing ingredients. Pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain, which is an anti-inflammatory and also aids with digestion. Cucumbers are 95% water and are incredibly hydrating. They’re said to be great for improving the condition of hair/skin/nails. I’m sure you’ve seen or heard the benefits of kale as it seems to be mega popular lately – for a good reason! It’s truly a nutritional powerhouse and particularly high in vitamin K.
