As you know, I’m always on the hunt for natural beauty products. My latest find is Hello Hair – a hydrating hair mask which I stumbled across on Instagram. So glad I did because I’m really enjoying it so far (there’s about 4 applications worth in one pouch so I should get a few more treatments out of there).
What really excited me about this product is that there are no weird chemicals and the hydrating effects come from all the natural oils it contains (coconut oil, pomegranate seed oil & grape seed oil to name a few). Also double yay for being cruelty free! The “Island Escape Edition” mask kind of smells like a delicious coconut cake mix with a bit of citrus to it. I used just over a heaped tablespoon and massaged it onto my dry hair (particularly the ends as I’ve had them dyed recently), and left it in for about an hour before washing it out.
My hair didn’t feel oily after washing it, but it felt as if it had absorbed the oils and each strand was smoother and more dense (particularly the blond tips). I think I saw the biggest difference when I styled it afterwards, as the ends weren’t as brittle and seemed to take the heat from my curling tongs much better than usual. I ended up taking a tiny amount and running it through my styled hair just to give it a bit of extra gloss.
For those who wanna check it out, you can drop by their website and find out more. They ship worldwide and costs AU$15 a pouch.
I’m having the best summer in Sydney soaking up the sun and enjoying all the natural beauty this city has to offer. Let me know if you see any other good beauty products that I should try!
