You may know that I’m a huge fan of using oils as part of my skin and hair care regimen. A while back I wrote about my love for rosehip oil, and its many benefits for skin. The latest oil I’ve been testing out is from an Aussie company called ECO Modern Essentials, who have a bunch of products which are made from natural ingredients. Always get excited to try brands back from home! I used their Erase Oil for a few weeks and here are my thoughts:
The first thing I noticed is the lovely scent! It smells like a mix of floral & citrus, and for me the mandarin peel oil is quite prominent, which I love. Yum! One of the claims of Erase Oil is that it’s beneficial for stretch marks. Well thankfully, I don’t have stretch marks right now, so I can’t comment on the efficacy in terms of reducing scar appearance. However, I noticed that my skin retained its moisture and suppleness all day after one application it in the morning. The consistency isn’t thick or sticky which I like. It’s just enough to moisturise skin without feeling like it’s clogging up any pores! As with most oils that I use for skin, I apply it straight after showering (before towelling) and pat dry my body afterwards.
