Welcome to my blog, where I write about all my favourite things: food, travel, health & style. What was once meant to be an online portfolio has unwittingly become my creative outlet! I suppose you’re here to find out a little more about me, and what exactly I do for a living. I’m still figuring that out.
Let me try to describe to you my life in a nutshell: I’m first and foremost a host (or a presenter, as us Aussies like to call it); I currently host a fashion/lifestyle TV show, as well as hosting events. I also write freelance for magazines – mostly about food and travel. When I feel like it, I make cooking videos and upload it on the internet for the whole world to judge my (non existent) chopping skills. When I’m not busy doing the above, I’m searching for the meaning of life. If anyone has figured it out, please email me.
Here’s a brief history of my eventful little life:
I was born in Tokyo, and lived my first 5 years there with my parents and siblings. We then relocated to Australia, where I studied and spent an awesome childhood kicking around a soccer ball and swimming in the sea. I travelled around the world doing all sorts of odd jobs, from being a barista in London to working in a medical assistance company in Paris. I then started modelling, which was a great way to see the world. Work took me to Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Malaysia and the Philippines (where I now live)!
My real passion lies in travel, health and simple pleasures. I love making delicious food with natural, wholesome ingredients. I don’t have labels for the way I eat, but I love colourful food and use plenty of fruits & veggies in my recipes. Preparing and eating healthy meals brings me so much happiness & I hope I inspire others to do so as well!
